Sunday

I am going to blog everyday this week with what I did. This is just an experiment, and also so I can see what I did when I read this later, assuming I will read this later.
Today, I woke up at 8:48, told my Dad to go away, I would be ready by 9:30, thankyouverymuch. Then I watched Dan and Phil play Dragon City for 11 mins, and went upstairs. I texted A to ask if I should wear my orchestra uniform to practice. She said no, so I put on black dress pants and a Girl Scout tee. I ate a cinnamon bagel with plain cream cheese, grabbed An Abundance of Katherines, found my purse, picked up my cello, put on my flip-flops, ran out the door, and jammed myself and my cello into A's mom's car.
We drove about twenty minutes to the concert hall at a local college, walked in to the band room, packed our cellos and found our way onto the stage with the local Symphony Orchestra. J, another cello friend, and I sat next to Mr. S, who had taught us cello in 6th grade, moved to South Korea for two years and had gotten back around Christmas time. We played for thirty minutes, and went back to the band room where A, E (another cello friend) and I talked about our unfair science project, and how E had to wake up at about seven to go to her church's early service. I then realized that my family was joining our new church and I wasn't there. This was slightly distressing, but I wouldn't have become a new member anyway because I have yet to be confirmed, which should have happened about three years ago, but that was about the time my old church stopped doing all the things churches should do. I suppose this is why we left.
Anyway, then Mr. L, our orchestra teacher, told us to clear out, pleaseandthankyou, so A and I smushed our cellos back in her mom's car, then crammed ourselves in. Then we drove the twenty or so minutes back to my house, and I told A that I would see her later. I searched through my purse, found my key, went inside, played iTunes Radio Weekly Alternative Chart, made myself an omelette, ate said omelette, and did an hour of ALEKS, which is an online math learning program thing. I hated it. Then I started on the unfair science project. My family came home, I ignored them, until we had to get ready to leave. I put on a black button-down, grabbed my purse, book and cello, and got into the car. My brother refused to leave the house, Mum yelled at him, and I spent the twenty minute ride to the concert hall handing him tissues. I went inside, unpacked my cello, tuned, went onstage, played my piece that I hate (Crown of India Suite by Elgar, Movements 3 and 5), went to sit in the choir seating to watch the rest of the concert, went to dinner with my family, and went home to finish awful science homework and write this blog post. Then, I presumably went to sleep. I don't know, haven't done it yet.

Chorus of the Day!

It's just a drop in the ocean
A change in the weather
I was prayin' that you and me might end up together
It's like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert
But I'm holding you closer than most
Cause you are my heaven

Last Chorus of the Day:
Flashed Junk Mind by Milky Chance
