Road Trip 2015 - Day 8 - Driving

We woke up in the cabin again, and packed everything into the car. Dad drove to Rosauer's, and we got pastries again. We then went to City Brew so Mom and Dad could have coffee. They need it to survive. A giant rainstorm started so we hit the road quickly. Sometime in Idaho, Mom pointed out that the clouds were eating the mountains.

We stopped at a rest area in Idaho and everyone except A went to the toilet. Then, it started torrentially raining, and Mom said we had to wait for it to blow over. A was left alone in the car for about fifteen minutes. Luckily, she is the bravest of us. I would have started crying my eyes out. She just listened to Fall Out Boy, and didn't even notice we were gone. We drove through Butte, Idaho. J spent the whole time calling it Butt. It was funny the first time, less so the seventieth.
Most of the day was very boring. We reached Salt Lake City at a surprisingly decent hour, 9:30. There was a Barnes and Noble across the street from our hotel! YAY! It was closed, though. :( We played Uno on the bed for two hours and then went to bed.

You are, you are
You are, you are

And nothing else compares
And nothing else compares
