whether to stay in the world with her family or to just let herself die. As you might expect, this movie is extremely sad.
Mia is a cellist, as am I. We feel some of the same things in our connection to the cello, a choice that made us. I cannot imagine who I am today without having played the cello. I have been changed wholly by playing the cello. I view the world differently because of my ability to focus on different sounds and pick out melodious lines in everyday life. Once I became a musician, the whole world became a song. It may be crazy and chaotic at points, but it is a song.
Playing an instrument makes you think about what you are doing. There are so many things you have to do, and your attention splits in a way that it never does during anything else. I have developed a sense of camaraderie with the other members of my orchestra, and my teacher is amazing and crazy. I have met so many people through orchestra, including some of my best friends. Whenever a song comes on, I sit there and tap my feet, pick up the different lines of music and pretend to play along. I have found something that I love in the cello, and, while I am nowhere near as good as Mia, I will keep playing for a long time. The cello is my home, and I always come back to it. I love my cello more than I can express and it feels like a person to me.
Since this post is more than a bit late, I will include my list of what I've been doing this week. I would also like to say that I'm probably not going to be able to stick to a set schedule right now, (high school is so overwhelming) so I will just post whenever I can.
Books: I reread Girl Online and loved it so much!
I also finished Isard's Revenge. It did not disappoint.

Then I read Starfighters of Adumar, next in that series. Fighter pilots are so... I don't know. I just love them all to pieces!

I also finished Handmaid's Tale, a beautiful, wonderful book that is very feminism-backing. I liked it a lot, though it was sad, and, at times, disturbing.
I am currently reading Mercy Kill: another X-Wing book. I love this one, though Wedge has not shown up yet.

I am also rereading Paper Towns, on account of the movie coming out this summer! I love it just as much as the first time!
I am just starting The Language of Flowers, which promises to be a very good book!

Chorus of the Day!
Guess the Song!
But you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go
Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go
Last Chorus of the Day:
This Love by Taylor Swift
