My First Fandom!

So, a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...
Yep, you guessed it: my first fandom is Star Wars! And it will continue to be part of my life for a while now, I hope. Episode VII! Sure hope it's good.
I first watched Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope when I was about 8, give or take a few years. I loved it from the start. The feeling of flying in a spaceship was exhilarating and amazing, and I wouldn't have minded a lightsaber to deal with my younger siblings, but I had no idea what I had just done to my life. I quickly watched the rest of the movies, and loved them all. (I would only realize later how crushingly awful The Phantom Menace was. I still stand by Jar-Jar Binks as comic relief.) My love was mild at first, but then I discovered the Star Wars Expanded Universe... (which apparently no longer exists. Ugggggggg!)
     That was the end.

First it was just the teen novels:

Star Wars: Young Jedi Knights: Heirs of the Force
This whole series is amazing!

Then it was Fate of the Jedi:

Star Wars: Fate of the Jedi: Outcast
This series is the best of everything! I so love it and I even got my little sister to read it, though she hates Star Wars.
It is so amazing and beautiful and Ben Skywalker and I can't even describe. If you like Star Wars, or think you might like Star Wars, or know anything about Star Wars, read this.

Then it was X-Wings:

Star Wars: X-Wing: Rouge Squadron
Wedge Antilles is a freaking boss. Also Corran Horn. And Gavin Darklighter. And Tycho Celchu. And Ooryl Qyrgg. And Asyr Sei'lar. And Whistler. And Mirax Terik.

Then:

Star Wars: Choices of One
Mara Jade is the best ever. And she has a purple lightsaber.
Star Wars: Darth Plagueis
The Sith are fascinating. And so are the origins of Emperor Palpatine.
Star Wars: Heir to the Empire
This book is the first in the Expanded Universe. It coined the term. It is amazing. Basically, if something is written by Timothy Zahn, it is awesome.
Star Wars: Outbound Flight
This is an amazing book about exploration and Jedi and what happens at the edges of the galaxy far, far away.
Star Wars: Lost Tribe of the Sith: Precipice
This series is amazing. It is one of the few Star Wars books I have currently bought. It is amazing and philosphical and I love it, and I cried.
Star Wars: Scoundrels
This is about Han Solo before he joined the Rebellion. Oh my gosh, I love that man. And Chewbacca. And Lando Calrissian. Smugglers...
Star Wars: Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter
This one is scary, and sad, and heartbreakingly painful. I love it!
Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi: Into the Void
There are no words for how amazing this book is.
As you might be able to tell, I have a problem. But seriously, I recommend all of these books, and all of the others! And the movies! And Star Wars! But be prepared for a loss of social life, and sanity, and ability to function in the 'real' world.

Favorite Characters:

Ben Skywalker
I can honestly say he was my first real crush. He's only been eclipsed by Orlando Bloom. I love him so much. I want to hug him, and take all his pain away. And marry him and stay with him forever. SO MANY FEELS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jaina Solo
I love her. She is such a strong female character, and doesn't take crap from anyone. She takes after her mom, Princess Leia Organa Solo.
Wedge Antilles
The best X-wing pilot in the New Republic. Excepting, of course, Luke Skywalker. He is amazing.
Yoda
You know who he is.
And you probably know why he's up here.

Favorite Planet:

Ithor
It is so beautiful.
And that's a quick run-down of my Star Wars experience. I hope you liked it, and maybe it inspired you to think about loving Star Wars. And I have to say bye-bye now, so hopefully I'll see you one of the weekdays. If not, next Saturday, I'll be here!
All of the pictures were taken from Wookiepedia. If you ever need a Star Wars wiki, this is the one to go to.

Chorus of the Day!
Guess the Song!
Oh don't you dare look back
Just keep your eyes on me.
I said you're holding back,
She said shut up and dance with me!
This woman is my destiny
She said oh oh oh
Shut up and dance with me

HiHiHiHi

Hello. Hola. Bonjour. Salve. Hello. Hi. What's up?
Normally, I'd say Merry Christmas here. This blog was supposed to be started near Christmas. Instead, I started it on a snow day in Feburary, February, no one knows how to spell that. I can barely spell my name, anyways. I'm having a darling day setting up this blog instead of doing my Science homework. So, I'll be leaving after this post is posted.
I'll set the scene for you: I'm sitting on my bed, typing on my laptop and listening to a 5 Seconds of Summer YouTube playlist. In case you didn't know, I'm addicted to YouTube. I'm just a little excited, and still in my pajamas and Oxford sweatshirt. I want to go to Oxford. :P
Hopefully, I'll see you soon! Can't promise anything as I remember just about nothing. I do want to update at least once a week, but I'll set no schedule for right now. I just wanted to say hi, now I'll say bye. Hopefully, Saturday I'll say hi again!

Chorus of the Day!
Guess the Song!
(This is a thing I will try to keep doing.)
Tune out the static sound of the city that never sleeps
Here in the moment on the dark side of the screen

I like the summer rain
I like the sounds you make

We put the world away
We get so disconnected
You are my getaway
You are my favorite place
We put the world away
Yeah we're so disconnected
Oh oh o-o-oh, oh oh o-oh
We're so disconnected
Oh oh o-o-oh, oh oh o-oh
