Amazing Lines: Panic! at the Disco - Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!

This is my favorite Panic! at the Disco album. Enjoy!
This is Gospel
Locked away in permanent slumber
Source

Assembling their philosophies
From pieces of broken memories
Source

The gnashing teeth and criminal tongues conspire against the odds
Source

'Cause these words are knives that often leave scars
Source

Led away by imperfect impostors
Source

Miss Jackson
You move in circles hoping no one's gonna find out
Source

A pretty picture but the scenery is so loud,
A face like heaven catching lighting in your nightgown
Source

But back away from the water, babe, you might drown
Source

Vegas Lights
In the Vegas lights
Where villains spend the weekend
The deep end
We're swimming with the sharks until we drown
Source

Our cynical minds will make it totally worth it
Source

We're all not here for nothing
And we're bored with looking good
We gotta be starting something
Would you change it if you could?
Source

Girl That You Love
Drop every pretense
Drown every sense you own
Source

So what does that make god
To the girl that you love
Girl you loathe
Source

Denominations surrender all control
Source

Our indignation to every tainted soul
Source

Nicotine
Cross my heart and hope to die
Burn my lungs and curse my eyes
Source

I taste you on my lips and I can't get rid of you
Source

So I say damn your kiss and the awful things you do
You're worse than nicotine
Source

It's better to burn than to fade away
It's better to leave than to be replaced
Source

Just one more hit and then we're through
'Cause you could never love me back
Cut every tie I have to you
'Cause your love's a fucking drag
Source

Girls/Girls/Boys
I don't wanna hear you've got a boyfriend
Sometimes you're better off alone
Source

Pose, you've gotta save your reputation
Source

I am just a villain vying for attention
From a girl
A girl who can't decide and here's the reason why
Source

But girls love girls and boys
And love is not a choice
Source

Casual Affair
Take any moment, any time
A lover on the left
A sinner on the right
Source

Lay in the atmosphere
A casual affair
Source

Break involuntary ties
A secret so the spies
Could never find us out
Source

Stay for as long as you have time
So the mess that we'll become
Leaves something to talk about
Source

Far Too Young to Die
I've never so adored you
I'm twisting allegories now
Source

I'm chasing roller coasters
I've got to have you closer now
Source

Endless romantic stories
You never could control me
Source

Well I never really thought that you'd come tonight
When the crown hangs heavy on either side
Give me one last kiss while we're far too young to die
Source

Fixation or psychosis?
Devoted to neurosis now
Source

Collar Full
We've waited so damn long, we're sick and tired
I won't leave any doubt or stone unturned
I've got a collar full of chemistry from your company
So maybe tonight I'll be the libertine
Source

You've got it all worked out with so little time
Memories that I'd blackout if you were mine
You've got a pocket full of reasons why you're here tonight
So, baby, tonight just be the death of me
Source

The End of All Things
Whether near or far
I am always yours
Any change in time
We are young again
Source

In these coming years
Many things will change
But the way I feel

Will remain the same
Source

All of these fit the theme of the album, dark B&W. I love this album so much and I hope I have done it justice.

Chorus of the Day!

Say what you mean
Tell me I'm right
And let the sun rain down on me
Give me a sign
I want to believe

Woah, Mona Lisa,
You're guaranteed to run this town
Woah, Mona Lisa,
I'd pay to see you frown

Re-Introduction

Hello, everyone!

I'd like to introduce myself again. It's been so long since last time we spoke.
I'm Susie, a sixteen year old girl with a love for Star Wars, vlogbrothers, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  I also enjoy Jane Austen, chai tea, astrophysics, So You Think You Can Dance, and The Sims 3.  I'd classify myself as Neutral Good, and I tend to play healers in D&D. (Elven healers, to be more precise.) I love my family very much and enjoy learning. I read constantly, and I hope to blog more over the summer and continuing into next year. I play the cello, dance, and volunteer at my local library. TTFN (Ta Ta For Now)

Chorus of the Day!

And in the end
I'd do it all again
I think you're my best friend
Don't you know that the kids aren't all, kids aren't alright
I'll be yours
When it rains it pours
Stay thirsty like before
Don't you know that the kids aren't all, kids aren't alright

On Doctor Who Season 9 & Christmas Special

I’m sorry I haven’t posted for so long. I’ve been trying to figure out how to go to school and do this, and the only reason I am typing this now is an app called Writer’s Block. Basically, this app shuts down your computer completely, except for the app, which is a word-processor. The only way to use the rest of your computer is to make either a word-count or a time-count, set by yourself. It is helping my productivity immensely.
Just so y'all know, there will be SPOILERS. Read with caution.

Episodes 1 & 2: The Magician’s Apprentice & The Witch’s Familiar
This was such a great story. I absolutely loved every bit of it. I can say that I was not expecting them to be on Skaro at all. That was a huge shock. I have watched Remembrance of the Daleks, which is the episode in which Skaro is destroyed. Anyways, I loved having Davros back. He is such a complex and well-done villain, as are the Daleks. The scenes with the Doctor and young Davros were so well-done, and they really tied the episode together. Plus, I adore Missy. She is so absolutely, brilliantly mad, in a way that really develops her character, and shows a bit of where the Doctor came from. Missy is just so deliciously insane, and wonderfully amazing. Everything she does is zany and serves to make her a better character.

Episodes 3 & 4: Under the Lake & Before the Flood
I was really enamored with these episodes as well. I love the feel of them, with the writing that possesses you and the ghosts. It was a really clever idea, and the use of the deaf character, Cass, was brilliant. Doctor Who is very good at taking people with disabilities and making them just as important as the rest of the characters. One thing I didn’t like about this episode was the way the Doctor acts so flippantly in the face of death until Clara is in danger. I feel like he forgot how to be the Doctor in this episode. Also, while I love Clara to absolute pieces, the Doctor was far too attached to her. He needs to find a new person every so often because that air of detached caring is such an integral part of the show.

Episodes 5 & 6: The Girl Who Died & The Woman Who Lived
Ashildr/Me is such a well-made character. I know that a lot of people don’t like her, but I don’t necessarily think she is there for you to like her. She is there to make you think. An immortal being with a finite memory is just so fascinating. She filled a library with her journals and she didn’t remember any of them. Plus, she isn’t good in the way that she seemed at the being. You can see Me become a different person over the course of the series, and I think that is brilliant. The Girl Who Died was very engaging and fascinating. The idea of Vikings going head to head with one of the most feared warrior races in the galaxy is amazing. Plus, the electric eels made me laugh. I also loved that the Doctor gave Ashlar a second chip. “…someone she cannot bear to lose.” Such a beautiful thought. The Woman Who Lived was also fascinating. Me just does not, cannot realize how her actions will harm the rest of humanity. She is just so profoundly bored.

Episodes 7 & 8: The Zygon Invasion & The Zygon Inversion
The Zygon Inversion by itself is now my favorite episode of Doctor Who. With the Zygon Invasion, they far surpass any other. (Expect possibly Blink, but that has strong nostalgia factor.) The episodes are so well-done. The parts where Clara was fighting with Bonnie were so amazing, and I love that they brought Osgood back. She is an amazing character, with so much strength. I love Zygons, too. They add so much complexity to the story, it astonishes me. And the end of The Zygon Inversion was so good. The Doctor’s speech brought me to tears, and it was powerful, moving and wholly the Doctor. I think Capaldi really hit the mark with this one, but everyone else was equally brilliant.

Episode 9: Sleep No More
This episode really creeped me out. My little sister couldn’t even watch it because it was so creepy. I love the concept, though. And the way they shot it was so great. The cameras, seeing through the character’s eyes. It was such a personal episode, and it definitely felt like it had been compiled later. It had that brilliant feel of a story for television, made later. It meshed with the story perfectly, and I thought it was an altogether brilliant episode.

Episode 10: Face the Raven
It still hurts to think about this. It was, and is, heartbreaking. I was devastated by Clara’s death, but I felt like it was really well-done, in that every character acted according to their motivations and in a way that made sense with their traits. I loved it. And I thought it was the perfect way for Clara to leave the series. I’m still a tad upset that they brought her back. That was just such a good ending for her character. But, I must say that I loved Me in this episode too. Well, I kind of hated her, but she was really well-done. Her character is degenerating with her age, which was the point. The writers wanted to explore what would happen to an immortal being with a finite memory, with a person forced to live forever without love, without anything that makes life worth living. Me is incredibly jaded and I love that about her.

Episodes 11 & 12: Heaven Sent & Hell Bent
Heaven Sent was such a good episode. I loved the whole concept. The painting of Clara was beautiful, just the extra touch that made the episode unforgettable. I feel so sorry for the Doctor. Four billion years of torture is unforgivable. I am not happy with the Time Lords right now. But the whole episode was just so elegant that it reminded me why I love this show more than any other. The quiet elegance sets it apart from modern TV. Hell Bent was also beautiful. The part with the soup and the soldiers deserting Rasillon was beautifully funny. Saving Clara was so bittersweet, and made me a tad upset. Her ending was so perfect in Face the Raven, but her overall ending is also amazing. The maze with the Angels and Cybermen reminded me of the maze under Skaro, and the similarities between two species that are so dissimilar. And, the part with the Doctor and Clara and Me at the end of the universe, that was so beautiful, so amazing. When the Doctor’s mind was wiped, I cried, and when he was singing to her in the diner, I sobbed. It was such a beautiful concept. She has become a song.

Christmas Special: The Husbands of River Song
I loved this episode. From the talking head in a bag to the Singing Towers of Darillium, it was beautiful. And it perfectly filled in the gap before Silence in the Library; it showed the Singing Towers. I love how everything about that night came from the Doctor. He inspired the building of the restaurant, made a reservation years in advance, paid for the restaurant and provided the waitstaff. And when River didn’t recognize the Doctor, it was so brilliant, so funny. I loved that whole part, and the entire episode was a mix of hilarious and heartbreaking.

Chorus of the Day!

It's a different kind of danger

And the bells are ringing out
And I'm calling for my mother
As I pull the pillars down
It's a different kind of danger
And my feet are spinning around
Never knew I was a dancer
'Till Delilah showed me how
